Returns & Refunds

Effective 2026-05-27. Last updated 2026-05-27.

Made-to-order

Every OddlyWiredCo journal, mug and sticker is produced specifically for you once you order. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Regulation 28(1)(b), goods that are made to a consumer's specification or clearly personalised are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel. We therefore cannot accept returns simply because you change your mind after ordering.

When we will replace or refund

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are protected. We will replace or refund (at our option) in the following situations:

  1. Defective on arrival — printing fault, binding problem, manufacturing defect.
  2. Damaged in transit — visible damage to the item or to its packaging on delivery.
  3. Wrong item received — a different design, size or product from what you ordered.
  4. Lost in transit — your order has not arrived within 21 working days (UK) or 30 working days (international) from the dispatch confirmation.

How to report a problem

Email hello@oddlywiredco.com within 14 days of delivery (or, for lost items, after the relevant transit window above) with:

  • Your order number (in the format cs_… from your confirmation email)
  • A description of the problem
  • For defects or damage: clear photos of the item and the packaging

We respond within 2 working days and we will not ask you to return defective items in most cases.

Refund timing

Where a refund is agreed, we issue it to your original payment method via Stripe within 2 working days of approval. The refund typically appears in your account within 5–10 working days depending on your bank.

What we do not cover

  • Buyer's remorse / changed your mind (see "Made-to-order" above)
  • Damage caused after delivery (drops, spills, wear)
  • Colour variation within the production tolerances of the print supplier
  • Delays caused by customs clearance on international orders

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or any other applicable consumer protection law.
